Regulatory references
The applicable framework is European before it is French. ERC Recommendation 70-03 and the Commission decisions set the parameters; Arcep transposes them. Frequencies and technical parameters are therefore, exceptions aside, the same in every Member State.
The framework is changing. ERC Recommendation 70-03 was amended in June 2026, and the ETSI EN 300 220-2 standard was recast in March 2025. Every citation must state the version used and its date. Links checked on 17 September 2026.

What applies to mesh networks
Duty cycle, occupation time, channel off time, listen before talk: the 2025 version covers them, and they apply directly to the LoRa protocols of the band.
